Does emule keep track of the names of the files which were downloaded ?
Would it be possible to see the filenames that were downloaded via emule in a specific date or at anytime ?
Thanks

The Known.met saves all files eMule knows of whether they are shared files, files currently in the download list or downloaded in the past. For every file information like file size, filename, hash sets, hash values and some statistics are saved. If you delete this file, eMule will have to rehash all files on the next restart. If you don't want eMule to remember downloaded files, disable the "Remember downloaded files" option in the preferences.

...The Known.met saves all files eMule knows of
How can I see these files ?
...Color coding of search results
Although same file is not in the download list, I still see some files with red color.
I thought red color indicates no resource available.

With regards to checking downloaded/cancelled files via eMule:
I read the url that you sent through. It says:
....Create an eMulecollection file inside eMule. On the upper left is a button that says "Shared". Press this button and it will change to Known
I am unable to see a button that says Shared. There is a button called shared files.
Also, how do I create an eMulecollection file ?

If you didn't understand how to check known files using eMule: go to shared files tab/list, right click on a random file, click collection, click create collection..., it opens the collection dialog, at top-left you can see the shared (xxxx) button, click it and it becomes known (xxxx)

Through your pc, I think you can only check the dates columns (last write time, last access t., creation t.); but maybe there are other methods(?).

o
Known2_64.met
Stores AICH hashes of all downloaded and / or shared files. If you delete this file, eMule will have to rehash all files on the next restart. If you don't want eMule to remember downloaded files, disable the "Remember downloaded files" option in the preferences.
beware only to this one "Known.met > you delete this file, eMule will have to rehash all files on the next restart. "

I do have 'remember download files' selected.
I found server.met and opened it in wordpad. It displayed really long and thin as if it had a huge list but when i zoomed in it was blank.
Any idea what's wrong please?

You wrote "server.met" instead of "known.met" here, as you wrote "known.met" correctly in your thread I believe your mistake is just in this thread.

If you didn't remove them from your shared files, they should be shown in red.
