Is [chn][verycd] A Leecher?

Hi Guys, recently I found that many users in my queue have tags [CHN][VeryCD], and most of them are from China.

I'm just wondering that what's [CHN][VeryCD], are they using a leeching client? Do they use this tag to recognise each other?

Uhm... I have [CHN] myself... to make them boost me...

AFAIK, the latest versions don't have this user name boost anymore, so it should be OK...
Not absolutely sure on this however! -- Haven't checked the src for some time now...

The original Verycd Emule Client is not leecher,but so many Chinese Leecher use [CHN][VeryCD] TAG to fraud a high score(old Verycd client had a 20000+ score for [Verycd] tag).

A Verycd mod`s ModString like this:Verycd+date or Verycd easymule+date,for example Verycd 080919

The most and most dangerous Chinese Leecher is Xunlei(Thunder),its ModString is date only,like TM0910,20071122,20080409,20080505,080620.The new version is more complex,like ZZUL Plus 1(The true ZZUL is based on 0.49),Xtreme 7(The true Xtreme is Xtreme 7.0,and based on 0.49b),xl build37,xl build42.

All of Xunlei are based on emule 0.48a at this moment,and Xunlei has not got a English Verison yet.

Please use a DLP ready MOD with DLP36 to ban these gangster.

Verycd disabled 20000+ score after 2008-08-28.

They are chinese emule users.

most chinese don't use official emule builds, because most they don't read english and less of them use google. so they can't find here.

they use a emule build called Verycd http://www.easymule.com/ . a chinese emule client. and it's not leecher.

most of chinese emule users use the site's mod and this site is really popular.

I am a chinese, I know the truth. Let me tell you.

www.verycd.com is a website in China. It provide a lot of firms, games, softwares, music etc.
It was great! People can just click and DL things they like from the webpage. It is the biggest site in China which made people share good things through p 2 p network.

People first DL emule software which named "emule v0.48a veryCD build" from the site, then use it. Every client has a recommended username:"[CHN][VeryCD]yourname", people can change it from options. For instance, my name is "[CHN][VeryCD]wizardt", and you can also type any other words you like, it just a name.

For: [CHN] means I come from China
[VeryCD] means I am a registered user of www.VeryCD.com
wizardt is my name.
If I don't like this name, or if I don't want others recognized that I am a Chinese,
I can also change my name as "[FFuuuccckk]hehehehe" or "ABCDE" or "43243214", any thing you like...
But many people are lazzy and left it like"[CHN][VeryCD]yourname", that is acceptable....

PLEASE NOTE THAT: We didn't leech!! And VeryCD edition have antileech mod, every one of us can't leach or he will be banned instantly.

Another issue...If you think that we Chinese always have a low upload speed, you may forgive us.
BECAUSE:
Our network are bad.........for example, I spend 20 days to DL JUST ONE PS2 game image from mininova using Bitcomet.
But.........I see the comment, one people said:"It is tooooo slow!!! I spend 2 whole days to DL this game!!!"......
seeing that, I just fell down to the ground.....

for now, I'm using the EMULE to DL things, the speed is "UP:30.3KB/S; DOWN:27.9KB/S"............
If you give us a great DL speed and some chinese didn't give you a same speed, maybe he is a leecher, but I think he is doing his best.
If you think that it is unfair(I think so.), you can limit your UPload speed...that is acceptable...
