Hi,
Just bought a 3Com ADSL Wireless Router. I've had some issues configuring it but it's OK now. Internet's working fine and high id with eMule. Upload speed is OK (always top speed = 12kb/s) but download is never more than 3 to 4kb/s! I was reaching for more with my previous modem. I've tried number of different files and it seems it's always stuck to this number, whatever number of sources are downloading.
2 things now. Either my config is not correct, Or, by any luck, Etisalat (my ISP) has again issues with their international link, impacting the download speed...
I would think that my config is not correct. I did put the following: PPPoA, VPI/CPI 0-50, VMux. Regarding the firewall, I opened the oprts TCP 4662 and UDP 4672 and have forwarded the IP as well. Anyway, I have my high id.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Bertrand

For those interested, I managed to resolve my problem.
The configuration was OK!
Actually, my ISP, Etisalat, is blocking the ports 4662 and 4672 commonly used for eMule. I just changed the port numbers and I'm reaching download up to 130kb/s.

Cheers,
Bertrand

You replied to a 2-year old topic. I doubt that the original poster is still here to respond. He/she has made only 2 posts in the last 2 years, and both of them are in this topic. :)
It said: "Insert disk #3 into drive...", but only 2 will fit...?!?
