wait for my bugfix! ;)
i did some stupid mistake. On looking up the average UL I looked up the average DL and used it instead. this is really some stupid bug I have to apologize for. I was in a hurry and seem to have missed something.
A new version will be out soon. Waiting for Xmans DLP sources to update the whole anti-leech issue! ;)

No, there will not be a new version of my mods. No, I do not want your PM. No, I am certain, use the board and quit sending PMs. No, I am not kidding, there will not be a new version of my mods just because of YOU asking for it!

Does that mean that we get an Ionix-style updateable leecher list?

I like this Idea :bounce: but there is a problem with that.

stulle

In my opinion you should add the next features to the new version :

1. Boost Friends this is realy good thing.

2. posibility to choose how many slots I want to open ( 5 is enough)

If you can so pleaze cancell R/r .

well, might be. but in case i'll make it updateable, i'll rather use the system from good ol' Xman! ;) Prefere his solution. :)

1.: My whole thread got cleared to the very first point because I left this feature in my mod under certain circumstances. You gotta know, I really liked it the way it was before so I'm trying my very best to come to this point again! *lmao*
Just kidding. The point is, it is indeed forbidden and the devs won't change their mind about this feature on adding some restrictions (like ratio activation) because of the friend boost. So it'll be removed from my mod until the devs change their mind about the feature (which probably will never happen!).

2.: It will work in the next version. Since the original eMule offers 3 kbps to every client I think there is no need to focus this any more if the usual system doesn't work. It's more likely a safety check preventing the UL from getting worse but the original system. I added another limiting option that enables the user to limit his slots to a number between 60 and 256. You might wonder about this limitation but it's quiet simple! This is just for users with high upload speed like that guy in the feature request thread (sry, forgot ur name!). The upper limit is due to the data type of the variable. I used a 8 Bit unsigned integer that can take 2^8 possible combinations of Bits. Equals 256. Thought that should be enough... in case it ain't, I'll invest another byte (8 Bit equals 1 byte) so we'll have 2^16 possibilities! ;) Quiet confusing, huh¿ :D
Some more words about me using the average UL as a reference for the ul speed. In case I set my max UL to like 50 kbps and ant a ping value that equals the best possible ping the avg ul will be far below those 50 kbps. Let's say it is at 38 kbps. This is a difference of 12 kbps. 12/3 equals 4! So there would be 4 slots opened, though there's no bandwith for 'em.

About the ratio. Won't be changed, it's great like this! ;) No one needs to upload more but 3kbps to friends and powershare on partfiles is kinda gay! *lmao* The other 2 restrictions are more likely for security issues. In case one of those borders is violated the user is doing something teribly wrong and this shouldn't happen in any way! So none of my users is able to leech the network at all. That's the way I like it! ;)

Greets Stulle

PS: Equals equals my own equals equal! *lmao* I dunno y i used that word so often!

Stullemulle has been running for 24 hours straigth now. Working on about 40 (22gb) files. Using 91mb virtual memory; 60mb physical memory. Works very nice.

With all those features, i can't believe you did'nt implement safehash :D
I wish this feature for x-mas :xknip:

as you might have read my last post here you should have noticed this answer was already answered. since we do NOT talk about the official client in general at this very thread your posts is simply nonsense!

just wanted to mention this.

PS: You should check YOUR code for bugs... i found at least one and I stopped on checking the D-files in alphabetical order!

Many thanx for Stulle for creating this great mod!

It's interesting to see that this is a mod of a mod (morph xt), but hey, if there;s a decent build that you can build on, then why not!

Is there a list of complete features and planned features for Stulle?

Cant belive i've been using the classic emule for so long and yet there are some many more features and tweaks out there to make things smarter and more efficient.

Keep the good work up Stulle and ignore those muppets who try to put you down

Well sometimes is relative...... in your case. It never looked that bad for me. But your graph is the bug i am speaking about. :flowers:

On the posive side the upload code for morph 7.5 (cvs version i am speaking of, there is no release yet.) seems to have solved this bug. Please be patient.

I'm trying to understand the way PayBackFirst is supposed to work in 2.x?!

Currently there's one PBF client in my upload slots, with an upload speed below 1 kB/s (for about one hour now). The strange thing is, no other PBF client seems to be allowed to enter the upload slots, so every client in PBF state just sits "on queue".

Is there only one PBF slot possible in the new 2.x?? Or what's the problem?

The stupid thing about this is, that a lot of these clients in PBF state, would have reached the upload slots even without PBF. Now they're punished? Not allowed to get an upload slot?! :cry2:

No, i have already seen 2 PBF-Slots at he same time uploading. PBF uses the Powershare upload class.

What are your speed settings? Upload limit general, PBF/Powershare limit and max. client datarates?
I think there are some bugs in the management system of the multiple upload classes (uploadbandwiththrottler.cpp), but Stulle-Mod inherited it from original Morph.
Stulle himself didn't change anything in the management of the upload classes in his mod.
Morph Dev Sirob is working on eliminating the bugs.
