Hi guys, I need some help.

I'v been using emule for 10 years, everything was working fine, high ID and fast downloads on my old computer. I bought a
new computer and installed emule, I transferred the config folder from the old computer to the new one so emule is configured the
same as on the old pc. The problem is on the new pc I have lowID and TCP port test failed. The strange thing is the ports are
open on the router, I opened the ports on the firewall of the new pc but still there is lowID. I tried to connect to the same server that gave me highID on the old computer but still I get lowID.
the emule version on both pc's is 0.50a, the old pc was windows 7, on the new pc it's windows 10 and the Antivirus is AVG-FREE on both pc's. the router is D-Link DSL-224. the ports are 4661 tcp, 4672 udp.
only the new pc is connected to router (same cable as the old one).

please help, thanks.

You have to ensure that your new PC gets the same IPv4 address everytime, either by manually setting it or by creating a static entry in your DHCP server.
Then you have to create a static NAT rule ("port forwarding") in your router to exactly tat address.
I recommend disabling AVG to test if that causes the problem. Also disable the Windows Firefoll temporarily.

Turn on UpnP in eMule under Options - Connections
And restart eMule

I disabled AVG and firewall, still got lowID. I set a static IP, still got lowID. I don't know how to create a static NAT rule.
The strange thing is the emule on the old computer got highID with the same router without setting a static IP.

UpnP was on and emule says it failed, but it was like that on the old computer.

Log in to your router and show us your NAT rules (port forwarding).

I tried to upload the screenshot but I get this "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board."

and when I tried to insert the image it says: " Sorry, but you are not allowed to post any links in your message. "

I suggest you to try portable Community version from download page with UpnP enabled and
see if you have high id with that version.
Updated and Legit Emule Server Lists are available here:
www.emule-security.org/ and shortypower.org
You can also enable options for updating server list from a connected server and clients
in order to have all currently available servers listed in your Emule software.

what's the difference between the versions? why should community version get highID?

do I need to uninstall the current emule version?

I solved the problem!

I made a mistake when I set the static IP, I set it to the wrong address, now I set it to same address the ports where forwaded to (which is probably the same address on the old computer) and I got highID.
the strange thing is that I didn't set a static IP on the old computer and got high ID.

anyway, thanks for the help.
