I use WebServer in local and outside but this I try to do only in local. I've already enable javascript on my web browser (Firefox 1.0.6). Can you explain me better? Sorry but I don't undestand what you intend.

sorry, to lead you astray, i think misunderstood your question...

but...

if you are downloading the file, can't you copy the ed2k Link from the transfer window by clicking on green arrow > "ED2K Links", next to the downloading file?
...check your clipboard.

you will need to remove the source reference to your computer:
eg, "|sources,148.221.185.20:4662|/"

...another way to copy the link is to use "view source" in firefox and manually search the text for the ed2k link that you want.

hope this has helped.

If I don't want to download the file, but only want to keep the ed2k link, with IE I can get it with a right click on "ed2k link">>copy link.
This doesn't work with firefox :(
I can take it from the page's source, and it's not so friendly.

I think the better should be add a "Copy ed2k link" option in the search tab of the Web Interface, but It's a feature request :)

hmm, you got me...
i think firefox doesn't like the '|' in the ed2k link... it might break the line at every '|'. on the commandline to a ed2k link the '|' sometimes needs to be replaced with a %7C (ascii char code) in the link for it to work... so maybe it's a firefox prob...

can you drag a link from firefox into emule?

sad, cos firefox is so good.

@sbriz: is there a browser extension for ed2k links for firefox?

@daviduzzolo: makes sense.

I think an image can explain better the problem :)

First of all, I think this isn't an eMule's bug, but a browser (firefox) problem...
If I want to copy in the cleapboard an ed2k link, from the search tab of the web interface, I'll do this...

Posted Image
Click to enlarge

Notes: Copia Collegamento means Copy Link...

If I try to do the same thing using FF, on right click on "ed2k link", this little tab disappear, and the browser show me the usual context page menu...
The best way,(but not the easy one for a lot of users) if I don't want to download the file is a right click on the page>>wiev source...

I cannot copy ed2k links in this way either from the search page (I can start downloads from the search results, just not copy a search result (an ed2k link) into the clipboard).

Also, before using web interface, I had to set a preference in the DeerParkAlpha2 about:config 'signed.applets.codebase_principal_support' to true.

--

Internet explorer doesn't work for me at all though (probably I don't have it set up right).

---
in DPA, in the download section of the web interface, I also cannot copy the ed2k link, but can start a download.

--

In DPA, From the shared files, I can mouse-over and choose to copy an ed2k link (as well as start a download again). It says, in the browser,
javascript: ToClipboard(ed2kinfo);
.

The result is (for example) (omit the ][ at begining and end)
]ed2k://|file|FAKE_1.png|58797|FAKE706023A6080449E6ADCB647AAD1E|/|sources,154.5.118.FAKE:4662|/[

(note the lack of an aich hash ? ).
