Well, I have wondered that myself, though the change to the code costs 1min and so it costs less than a deep thought about the subject
My HDs have 8MB of cache, so I thought it could be a good thing to send them that quantity of data at once.
Enlarging the buffer, however, decreases the number of writes accesses on your HD, and expecially for high download speed, it may be a good thing, IMHO.
There are many things the official version put limitations on which mods do not. Untill, finally, the official removes those limitations as well

Been using for a few days everything seems to be running fine!

I've been using your mod for the last days.
It's working really nice. Great Job.
Just a question. With old official 0.44 versions, I had a lot of sources hanged on "asking" for hours. In the new 0.45 seems that this bug (?) is fixed. I've realised that with your mod, I'm having around 350 sources in asking of a total of 3000. Is it normal?
Thanks in advance

That's easy to fix:
Look in splashscreen.cpp line 111 and change the 30 into something like 24
lf.lfHeight = 24; // 30->24 smaller text

Sorry I have not understood the question.
You mean the clients are waiting less?

Yes, I've already fixed it for the next revision.
But I shortened the string instead
Well, reducing the font height is another option I'll look at.

Odd. I had it running for some days and it reached about 120MB.
Yesterday I restarted it and today it was 80MB.
I have found that Kad network "stresses" the app a bit. Try disabling it and see if the problem with the memory is still there.
Thanks for the feedback.
/edit: however I have not touched the connection/client handling but for the SUQWT patch, which should not have a problems memory related. The worse that can happen with it is it will mess up your upload queue
See if you have the same memory problem with the original ZZUL 45b version.
Thanks again.

No. I mean: usally a source (client) keeps in asking just for a few seconds (or minutes) until this sourece goes to QR, A4AF, No Parts Needed, etc... But I've realised that I have a lot of clients (sources) that keep asking for ever, without change.
It's similar to that problem Sources being asked and now I have 400 sources in "asking" since yesterday (24h)
What can I do?
Thanks
