Hmm, but why can't i disable the "lösche tote Server" feature anymore like in the older mods, i don't need this feature 'cause i'm using only staticservers...or have u just forgotten to set a enable/disable checkbox

Btw. why don't u implement some kind of feature that reloads the staticservers.dat when a user requests "aktualisieren" in the Server-Tab on "Server.met von URL laden"? That would be great if it was purpose that the user is no longer able to disable the "lösche tote server"-feature, then sometimes even my staticservers can be down for upgrade or something, an when emule throws them off my server.met it's a bit "uncomfortable" to re-add them.

Where are all these Version??? In all Sicka Thread i found only W98x and WNT Versions, but no Processor optimized Versions.

hmm i'm not sure but i think i've found a bug, Kad seems not to update the ip after a disconnect, sometimes it even set it to 10.0.0.1 ( <- very funny my LAN IPs are 192.168.0.x, so something seems to be wrong)

so after a deep look into it i finally found out that Kad tends to update the IP after a big amount of time

but this amount seems to be too long, therefore many UDP Reqs are dropped or failed.

Yeah I can't help but wonder about that too. Where are all of those builds, have you decided not to build them, or will they be released some time after the initial unoptimized builds.

Seems Sivka builds a W98 and NT version with an optimizer which checks for your CPU and uses it's advantages.

i always use the original emule.your mod was so fast out i have to test it.
after 43h of testing everything is fine.

ul:dl ratio 3.62:1
upload limit 12
successful upload sessions 92.37 %
average upload per session 8.76mb
i have always 3 upload slots and the clients get full chunks.
thats the way i like it.

in the original 43.b are min 4 upload slots sometimes 5 or 6
i think its better to give 3 clients full speed to complete a chunk than upload to 4 or 5 clients 5-7mb (with my ul limit).

But I have the same problem as many others: Although connected to a server, there's no up/download at all! Even tried to install it in a totally different directory - nothing's changed! Did anyone already find a solution for this problem?

using:
Windows Server 2003
Athlon 1.3 GHz
(and: system and emule-temp/download directory are on different hdds)

Another problem: Since I've used sivka mods, my system crashs every 20-30 hrs. What could be the reason? Is there another one who uses Win2003?

Just run the configuration wizard, leave all settings alone and it will run fine...

I've notice the "no upload/nobody on queue eighter" situation myself yesterday. It happend after starting up eMule with 10 files with many sources. Once the "too many connections" warning in Status disappeared (after 20-30 mins) the queue filled and the uploads began. Notice that this might have been a coincidence, because other times it starts up like desired. Possibly something queue-related? Nobody allowed to enter queue = no upload of course. Just an idea.

I think the no upload 'bug' is somehow connected to the part and met files. I downloaded 1 file after I switched to sivka 0.43b mod and that file is the only one that my upload queue will let people get.

the testversion works at last for me. but only without the xp wirewall.
the original client has no problems to open the ports and work even with USS.

ok, alpha is running (quite well). no more problems to be seen. queue is filling with normal speed. upload is good.

the only problem is with the ICF.
