To hans0815:

I have an idea for the next update: It would be very nice to make a template for the whole "Translators" section in TEAM.TMPL. Just like you did it for translated help files in Download.tmpl.

P.S. By the way, I think it is better to store all language names in one file, instead of holding it in separate files in "_download_inc" directory.

Best regards,
Vyacheslav Maliuhin aka SLA

yes, that's right, but i don't want to spend to much effort updating the old system.
currently i am woking on a new system (with another templating engine).

correct, again, it was an adhoc solution as long as the new system is not ready :)

at another (multilingual) site i made (same template engine), i tried stripping all translations from html and put them into diffrent files. worked fine.
i am planning something like this in the new system, but with database support and some automatism. :)

it looks like you used frontpage for translating the files... well the templates are unusable now. the template-tags were changed.

e.g.
<TMPL_INCLUDE inc_bottom.tmpl=""></TMPL_INCLUDE>

should be:
<TMPL_INCLUDE inc_bottom.tmpl>

I think the zip file you posted at the beginning of the thread should be updated more often. It seems to be a bit outdated, don't you think? I'll try using it for a Romanian translation, anyway. I'll keep in touch.
Cheers!

EDIT:
team.tmpl and lang.inc need some adjustments, in my opinion. I added ro.tmpl to the _download_inc folder, a link to ro_RO.dll in lang.inc and Romanian translation in the Translators list in team.tmpl .
I uploaded the files in zip format. Contact me if needed.

The file is here:Attached File  Romanian.zip (15.47K)

The Edit function is a litlle buggy, so I had to post the flag gif in this separate post; sorry for being so absent-minded sometimes...OK, always. :P

Alright, I will begin translation it. :)
By the way, do I have to create a webpage? Or I should just translate and send it to you?
