Thanks for your help in upgrading eMule through eMule0.45a--Installer (.exe file). Now, in my file, I still have the old version (eMule0.44d-Installer); should I send it to the trash can?

I was using an LSD mod of emule before which was preinstalled in my second-hand computer. Now I had a new computer and I want to update to 0.45a.

I wonder whether I may update using binary instatllation withour problem or update with binary installer is compatible with only regular mods released by emule-project.net.

I have tried in my old computer but I crashed my computer. This is possibly due to another problem in my old computer.

But I want to be sure. I do not want to use the mod I am using now.

Yes it is the "Full Version" if that`s what you mean, emule is completely free of charge, it`s also open source so you can even download the source code, modify it and compile it yourself if you want.

Thanks for your excellent instructions, regarding Updation of Emule, Birk !

I read this post, only after having updated to the 0.45b version. But fortunately, I did most of the things right, instinctively. (Backing up and replacing some of the files).

But I believe that the "Main Download Page" should have a link to these instructions or should have these instructions on that page itself, since many new users would be vary of reading the forums, or simply might not find this post.

Just my opinion on this, :angelnot:

Thanks,
Cerebrus.

I cannot download the latest e-mule v046 from any site even sourceforge. Please tell me why. I had a version on my computer which I had to delete and now I wish to download e-mule again. Ann.

I updated 0.46a to 0.46b and now nothing downloads, but stuff does upload, though the update may not be related. I'm running win98se with 96mb of ram.

Can anyone help?

The word unblowuppable is thrown around a lot these days, but I think I can say for certain that... (Boom)

The source code is for compiling your own eMule. If you don't know what that means, I suggest you don't download that package. HTH.

Hi,

I've recently updated Emule to version 46c from 46a. After the update Emule will not connect anymore, it keeps saying: "Failed to connect to all servers listed. Making another pass."
I've tried everything, updated the server list, going over all settings, read the forums.. but I can't seem to find the answer to my problem. When I go back to version 46a it does connect again. What's wrong? What should I change?

I hope you can help me.... :cry2:

Thanks!
Murd0ck
