Em... has anything changed in 7.7 or do I have to do another translation? Sorry for being such a pain in the ass, but people are starting to impacient with me and I'm doing what I can :-S

the 7.7 changes to 7.6 are very minor... just look at the diff here:

cvs version of totranslate.txt

(You do runn diff i hope). If i streamlined the process for myself i will post a little guide here.


People who want to translate the morph to other languages (that are already covered in official) please read the few next pages of this topic.

In short:

Downlaod the "totranslate.txt" from the CVS (link just above here)
Translate it.
post a link to the translation here. (or mail it to me. )

create a small text like this: (no need to translate this exact)

You may also include readme.txt i can include in the package. You may post an dll (if you knwo how to make it ) in this forum, but i want the .rc file to compile it myself for the sf site.

I got the spanish (heffeque) & german (stulle) versions running on my pc. Will post them soon @emulemorph.sf.net

Anyone wanting to have other translation please translate "totranslate.txt"and post a link to your translation here. ( or email me at , http link in forum is preferred by me) and als a readme file that explains that the resulting dll file has to be put in the "lang" (if you ever used a morph translation you know that)

Ok, several things. I tried the DLL you made leuk_he (thanks ;-) ) but it only translated what the oficial emule does, the MorphXT things don't get translated. I don't know if it's because I have 7.7 installed and the txt I made was for 7.6... or if it's just "broken" :-S I haven't tried downgrading to 7.6 to see if it works.

Another thing, I noticed that there's an error in THIS totranslate.txt. It's missing a symbol in line 528.

And last but not least... here's the TXT for the 7.7 version:

That because i screwed up, and that is why i keep these test private.

I pm'ed a new version based on the 7.7 zip. I do not see the error in 528 (what editor do you use to translate?).

I use TextPad. The error is very little, it's in that line and you have this:

there isn't any longer. sirob kicked franky five out of the project due to his attempts of ruining the name morphxt with his damn leecher versions. anyhow, we took care of that

Almost finished, I took that linked in your sig (1.8). I'm editing it with MFC Wordpad, even I do have MS VS IDE.

Wordpad is better indeed. the MS resource editor is far too smart for this.

I finaly put up the spanish translation (it should work for all 0.46c emule based morphs).

If you are ready then just put a link to the translated textfile, a small readme (mentioning your name if you want) and a small welkom messege to put along the in the emulemorph.sourceforge.net.

it ain't if you use it properly using properly meens not using the editor at all. you gotta use "open with..." and then "Source Code (Text) Editor". This makes editing easier while not using the Wordpad which is far better cause smaller and more to the basics.

I screwed up twice with that editor when i choosed the wrong encoding. that is why i recommended wordpad that has the correct settings for your country.

Mmm... I see that the name for the Spanish DLL isn't the same name as the rest so when you go HERE the spanish DLL is in the middle of the list instead of more or less in the end like it should be.

Here's what's put: [eMulev0.46c-MorphXTv7.7-es_ES_T.zip]

What has been put in other files and languaje files: [emulev0.46c-MorphXTv7.7-fr_FR.zip], [emulev0.46c-MorphXTv7.7-bin.zip], etc

If you decide to change the name to emulev0.46c-MorphXTv7.7-es_ES_T.zip like the rest of them, tell me ;-)

I also noticed that the word "spanish" isn't spelled right in the official MorphXT website, HERE and HERE

Instead of

If you don't have the "ñ" symbol just copy and paste it from here. All modern browsers support it without any problems although if you want to be 100% html correct you should but "ñ" with the ";" included. But as I said IE 4+, Firefox, Opera, etc in Windows, Linux, MacOS, Symbian, WindowsMobile, etc can manage with the "ñ" symbol without the "correct" html coding.

As for the "c" in spanisch... (it should be spanish, without the "c") I think that that's german, not english

Just "no big deal" things that I noticed

Oh, and TextPad is a great text editor. I recommend it 100%.

Several days ago I translated to_translate.txt into polish language LINK

I also translated official eMule becouse old polish translation based on version 0.45b
HERE (.dll & .rc)

I know that my translation basic version (0.46c) isn't official translation that's why it won't be able to located in Morph Mod, but maybe I"ll change your mind

Unzip .dll file in lang dir in eMule folder
