Morph can use the official translations. However if you do that all the extra morph features are not translated. If you want to help to make a local version these strings needs to be translated.

Anyone wanting to have other translation please translate "totranslate.txt", or better extra the morph part of the string table from emule.rc (also in cvs) and post a link to your translation here. ( or email me at , http link in forum is preferred by me) and als a readme file that explains that the resulting dll file has to be put in the "lang" (if you ever used a morph translation you know that)


If that totranslate.txt is old(happens) you can also take the emule.rc from the latest source distribution and translate the "STRINGTABLE" resources there. It is identical to to totranslate.txt. Note that if there is an official translation you can get a head start by extracting the appriopiate .rc form official (source disotibution in the lang subdir) and take that as a start. if you need more help in ho to translate post here!

Installer: the isl strings are for the installer. http://emulemorph.cv...pt/?sortby=date
As long as the language is supported by innosetup only this needs to translated for the installer.



Updating:

Please keep track of update of morph. Strimgs that are not added to the translation will be shown in english. You can check the differneces in emule.rc to see what needs to be added.

Hello,

I’m not a programmer but I want to make a language file for the mod. I’m thinking in join the translated file *.rc from the official 0.40e and my translation of the file toconvert.txt (topic above). But then, how I’ll could to convert a *.rc into *.dll? I need all the source files of the eMule? And a specific version of Visual C?

Or there is a better method?

1) take lang.rc2 and proper lang_LANG.rc, lang_LANG.h lang_LANG.vcproj from official sources
2) search in mod's emule.rc for last IDS_* string from official lang_LANG.rc (IDS_RESETLABEL for 0.42e) and take these additional IDSes after it (IDS_RESETLABEL) from mod's emule.rc into your lang_LANG.rc
3) translate it
4) open lang_LANG.vcproj in your VS (2003 for me) and compile it
maybe there is easier way, but this one was fastest for me :]
