You could try Media Player Classic, it is capable of playing most things. Some people are also reporting good experiencies with VideoLan, but I've never used it. Other than that, I don't know.

According to a search in the eD2K network you either have one big .bin file or several .number files ...
How about knowing what to download?

I guess You rigth.
But where is it written which files are OK.
Sometimes the files with most sources are not the best ones.
I trust some users (or friends) but they are not always on-line or have all the files I want.
I wonder why do people put sometimes crap in emule.
What's there point

I didn't say that these files are crap.
.bin is an ISO image and the .number files are normally multi-volume RAR archives (inside which the .bin file should be found).

Let's not mix subjects
Anyway I binned those files.
I'm not very good in finding software to open unknow files.... (sometimes IT vocabulary looks chinese to me - I'm portuguese)
I tried G-spot render but did not figure out what to do...

Arcano,
It was a ace archive supposed to have several short duration videos.
Anyway it went to the bin.

Also I understand you need to do something to PS's to let them recognise CD-Rs. If this has not been done to yours then it may be preventing it from doing what you want. Modding such hardware is not something for discussion here, you will need to try one of the ed2k link sites forums.

There is something you can do to get your ps2 to play divx files, vcds, etc, you will have to spend some money for it though. Im not sure if forum rules let me say anymore than that.

Now if we are assuming that he wants to watch a home movie file we should be okay. Well it was my assumption when talking about modding so it will recognise a normal CD-R.
