Hi to everyone,
I have downloaded and installed eMule Mobile on a Siemens S55, with firmware version 16. After configuring it with my static IP address and my password, I am asked if I always want to allow that conection. When I answer "Yes" it seems to begin the conection, but after a while, I get a kind of pop-up saying something similar to "Bad GPRS profile". I have checked that I am capable of viewing web pages, so the profile should be all right. My operator is Telefonica Movistar, in Spain. Does it have anything to do with the list published?

Another test I have tried is to enable the normal web server and try to access it using a normal http conection. I can see a page displaying my eMule version, but there is nothing I can control that way.

Any kind of help will be very welcome, because eMule Mobile is really interesting for me.

Regards,

Fer

Finally I achieved to download and install mobilemule on my motorola t720i (my phone says its size is 112 K!).
However the problem is that i can't connect to my webserver. when i put the id and pass and i select login the hourglass is shown on the screen but it remains so for long long time. what's the problem?

Use the connectiontest and please post the result into another similar or new thread.

MobileMule

My Sharp GX20 has the same problem of T720i. It remains with the hourglass.
I tried also connectiontest but it's the same.
I verified that:
- Emule 0.30c, with 0.6b protocol, accepts connection ("New user successfully logged into MobileMule-Server")
- after a long time the hourglass doesn't change but gprs activity stops
- the pc-firewall is disabled
- I use Vodafone in Italy
- someone said that Vodafone has problem and the new version 0.6b doesn't connect any more (0.5a all ok?)

What can I do?

Thankyou :worthy:

Hello. I love the idea of MobileMule but couldn't get it working on my Casio A5401CA. However I tried what Fer said and went to my emule web server page and got the same result, it says the emule version and then just the grey background with nothing else. So I was wondering if MobileMule can work without downloading anything? Just with a web page like the web server but one designed for mobiles.
Would something like this be useful to anyone else?
Cheers :)

Nokia 7210 working fine here!

Mobilemule 0.6b with Vodafone (ITA) on port 80 (can't change this port because i'm accessing via WAP Gateway)

The only thing i can't get to work is the search feature, but i'm working on it.

All the other options are working really fine with no glitches, timeouts or anything else.

Thanks to the developer of this little gem! Keep improve that!

I have A LG 5350 From Sprint Pcs and the same problem listed above occurs whenever I try to Install moble emule on my phone.

I work for Radioshack and the same thing occurs when I try to Install it on the store phone (invalid security discriptors, wrong jar size) I am looking into sprint pcs specific programming for the wap browser to see if i can fix the code (I am a comp-sci major) also I will try putting the software on my web site to try installing it from there.

My Webpage that is only weeks old & is complete bullshit.....built with notepad .....

well.. it is not working with telefonica movistarīs TSM100v6 (Spain).

i think its because this mobile is kind of weird.. it has touch pad system :D

it may be pointless and useless -and bareley impossible- to make a MobileMule version compatible with this kind of phones, but if the developers just wish to make a try.. ;)

Sanyo 8100 works until I try to log in and after waiting at the Please Wait: Requesting Data screen for about 10 seconds it says:

Error
Bad Serverresponse: 4
05 Method not allowed

My Samsung A500 does not work, I get an attribute mismatch error right after downloading when its about to install.

peace
