good morning everyone

I would like to use a vpn for emule .
I read on the forum that among the best are AIRVPN PRIVACYVPN , VANICH , EXPRESSVPN and IVACY;

I would like to opt for IVACY because I read that it is the easiest to use .
could someone give me a short simple but detailed tutorial on how to parameterize the ports so that emule works with IVACY ?
alternatively a tutorial on the other vpn's I listed before is also ok .

I recommend AirVPN. Many in the eMule community use it and so far, I have only had good experiences with it. It is also super easy to configure.

1. Setup the AirVPN Client
2. Setup Ports in the Customer Panel on airvpn.org
3. Setup Ports in eMule from the Customer Panel
4. Connect to VPN and Start eMule
5. Now you should get HighID and secured by VPN

Yeah, AirVPN is the best of the many i tested. Lots of options, good client and easy to use.

only 2 issues:

-since iam using switerzland from germany, i have sometimes speed issues and a higher latency in a browser. but its higher than how it would be normally with other services...

tried hide.me again some weeks ago with testtime, it was way faster and more responsive, but i couldnt get port forwarding working

-sometimes i cant connect on my pc (all servers and protocolls) without a clue why -_- next day no problem again or so


BUT i wont and cant use torrent and emule without vpn since the NAT problems with ipv4 in germany...

bei Hide.me ist das Problem, dass Ports da mittels UPNP freigegeben werden und das funktioniert so semi gut mit den eMule Versionen und je nach Mods. (hxxps://community.hide.me/threads/emule-and-upnp-my-tip-and-test.3635/)

Es gibt noch die Option Split-Tunnel.

But this info that hide.me using UPNP for forwarding is nice to know. i wasnt aware of that.

i have deactivated UPNP everywhere.
