Hi, in the eMule settings there is the choice of the multimedia player of the previews but one thing I would like to have is to be able to decide the choice of the program to manage archives such as zip files or rar files.
Now I don't know exactly how they are managed by eMule, often you can do previews of incomplete files to see what is inside, but I have often noticed that even though there is everything that is necessary to do the preview eMule is not able to do it.
So I have to copy the corresponding part file outside the Temp folder and open it with 7-Zip and often it opens it and makes me extract the files.
So is it possible to add the choice of the program to manage the archives?

Preview function was added to simplify checking for fake files, not for extracting from archives or playing movies.
For some archive types, it tries low level reading and attempts to create the list of files.
No wonder, you could achive more with manual efforts.
7-zip was a relative newcomer; hence its support was not built in, and this is not a high priority issue.
There is a possibility to use multiple preview application; please use search, see Docs about Preview and this quote:
