Hi
I am using eMule 0.70a for Windows 11 and would like to share the network folder \\NASTS269PRO\Public\Public_downloads .
However, when I insert it in the "Network Shared Folder" field in Options ---> Folders and click Apply, this folder disappears and is not shared. Where do I go wrong?
In File Explorer, this folder is accessible without logging in to the Server.
Thanks
Bye

Seems like a bug.
While this is not fixed, there are two options to try.
1. Assign a drive letter to your share.
or
2. Close eMule, add line \\NASTS269PRO\Public\Public_downloads to shareddir.dat file in config directory.

I edited the shareddir.dat file as you said but eMule automatically deletes that added directory when I run it again. How come?

I solved the same issue by manually editing the shareddir.dat file (in my case using Notepad++, but any text editor will do) and adding my UNC paths there. Then, I marked shareddir.dat as "read only". That loaded my UNC paths into eMule and prevented its deletion.
