In no place I have said that I was downloading at 30 MB/s. The closest I have said to that figure is that my Internet connection has a top speed of 300 Mbps, which equates to 37.5 MB/s.

My point is, precisely, that a freeze has happened in the UI while downloading well under the system limits in a modern computer, able to download at 37 MB/s through HTTP or FTP (with little CPU usage) or copy files from disk to disk at 200 MB/s.

I'm afraid this is getting personal. If you try to attack the reporter of the problem instead of investigating it, or maybe asking me for additional tests (which I would be more than glad to do), well, I think my time is done here. Why bother to collaborate if I'm going to be beaten for it?

Take it or leave it. This is my last post on the topic.

Setting "Options->General->Start minimized" doesn't stick, i.e. when Apply is clicked the checkbox gets cleared and the option isn't saved to 'preferences.ini'. However, setting "Options->General->Start with Windows" also activates "Start minimized".

I went back to v0.60d and realized that it also suffers from the same bug.

This build should fix the reported issues:

• sort by column in several list contorls
  
• handling of Start minimized and Start with Windows settings

I never tested eMule in Windows Server 2022 (OS build number 10.0.20348).

It was a mispelling by me, infact next i was talking about queue and queue managing which all the asychronous I/O

What i can be mistaken about, is the impact of managing the queue on performance.
I don't know if everything it is automated once set the mechanism, or it needs manual aknowledgment and managing to complete.

BTW as far i can see, even if the "lag problem" is not completely solved (it still lags altough less) it is highly mitigated.

One or two minutes after open emule0.70a uploads going to 0 and grey.
I just copied emule.exe in emule0.60d folder replacing existing emule.exe one.

Just now i'm remembering a strange situation i encountered in the past with 2 (or 3) betas before the latest.

After weeks of being online without interruptions, i tried to make a search and no result showed up.

KAD was all green and server was connected.

There was no way of obtaining any result at all.

After closing and reopening the exe, after some minutes of synching the results showed up again regularly.

There can be some situation where after very long time of being online something got screwed up?

Srry, i thought it was beta bug... i never had ul/dl limits and didnt had this problem.

I will try next time check a bit more before post here.

This is not right, even if you see no problems.
Too high upload chokes the network connection; so correct upload limit is very important.
USS does not work with today's equipment.
Download limit was mostly optional, though it should be used to prevent disk system overload and non-resposive GUI.
With reasonably fast HDD probably 100 Mbit/s connection should do without download limit.

Does it affect anything? Does it affect number of failed 1 time servers?
Yesterday i have replaced .exe from 0.51d to the latest beta and got 12 of 30 servers failed (pic1) and it looks like obfuscation icon and status was not updated.
So i deleted all servers from the list and now for i have 2 only servers failed (i guess they do not support obfuscation correctly...)and status and icon display different status for some servers. (pic2)
(restarted pc and emule at least two times within 2 days, 1000+ files shared, win10, x64, emule 32bit).
