tested couple of time 0.60 and time to time was crashing on XP, 0.50a never crash for me...maybe will test 0.70 later hoping will be stable..

With the latest version, it seems to fix this problem, and even with some slow GUI responses, the new version loads files larger than 34K very fast and even the hash speed has increased a lot. Very stable version for me. Categories, schedules and more continue to work well.

lately after a time i see a lot of standby uploads breaking my share of files, i have high id, my clients are both high and low id.

i have my upload set to 50% of max upload speed,
max sources / file to 2000,
max connections to 900,
max new connections / 5 secs to 20,
max half-open connections to 9,
around 400 shared files,

i am using the second version of emule 0.70a, i don't remember to see this issue on emule 0.60d.

Possibly peers request more data than their download capacity could handle; usually these were amule/adunanza clients.
Such behaviour of peers was seen and reported long ago. Maybe in 0.50b beta/code discussions if not earlier.

dunno, it's strange, because every client is on standby after one starts to be on standby, no matter how much time is after 1st entered standby. i have seen emule 0.50a, 0.70a, amule 2.3.3 before the bug appears people can download at 30MB/s from me and after at few bytes / s, if i close and open emule they start downloading fast again.

this time it reached after 10 minutes, i go to close and reopen client to see if there is a way to reproduce.

nope never used vpn or proxy for p2p.
also, when this standby thing starts it's stuck there till i restart emule.

i also tried to increase max new connections to 40 and half-open connections to 20 without luck.

What 10 minutes you were talking about? It should have timed out much sooner.

this i.imgur.com/NSZ6p4w.png is when it works properly, for around 10 minutes after start emule, like you see they are downloading at a sum of near 7MB/s

this i.imgur.com/XSI7LWN.png is when it bugs, like you see 130 KB on 4 minutes, this is around after 10 minutes of start of emule upload speed 54 bytes/s.

One peer has fast connection, and other - very slow.
Your client restart will never change this.

This should have been said or shown in pictures instead of images where things look fine.
If upload regularly drops or becomes very unstable, then you have a support case, not a bug (the beginning of this topic has an example).
Simply to say - parameters are too high for the connection and it chokes after a short while.
Try search for an old topic from seeingATeMuleEnglishMF where she explains how to get proper settings. It is still good and valid even though some links in the message might be stale. Exception - automatic update of servers on connect, because it might require manual management of IP filter in order to keep bad servers away.

the problem is, that with 0.60d with same settings, everything works fine, nothing changed other than emule version.

There is a little fastidious problem with Emule 0.70a 64bit.
I open the software and It run very well; the search function also very well.
After some time that Emule is open if you try to search some files nothing succeed it stopped to work.
You may restart the software and then It run again.
Please fox88 can you fix this fastidious issue.

The problem is that often settings are far from correct, and 0.70a is less forgiving.

What is the search method?
If server search, are you connected to a good server?
