On eMule v0.60d when you opened an emulecollection files appears the list of files that you can add to the downloaded files.
Whit eMule v0.70a nothing happens: no crashes, no errors, no messages, no logs.
Please fox88 solve this usefull function.

Yes, both official eMule and previous community version (v0.60d) when open an emulecollection file opens a window with links, allowing to add some or all of them at download.

Only in v0.70 nothing happens, so I suppose it is a v0.70 bug.

If you replace 0.70a executable with 0.60d, does it change?

In Search Type Select Collection.
One time the file collection downloaded if you double click on it open the list of files in the collection.Then you can add them to the normal downloaded files of eMule.
Please fox88 fix this useful thing.

Yes, if I remove 0.70a and next I install 0.60d again it works.

The "open" action is the simple double-click on any emulecollection file (does not matter if it is downloaded or created with 0.70a/0.60d).
The emulecollection extension is binded at eMule program by eMule setup.

I sent you a PM with an emulecollection file for test (if needed).

ps. I used the x64 version of both 0.70a and 0.60d (I don't think it change something).

Thanks, now the issue could be reproduced and will be fixed.

As a temporary workaround, command line "eMule.exe full_path_to_collection_file" should open "View collection..." dialog.
Does not work. Seems my test build already differed from the release.

Unfortunately, the workaround seems not works: if I execute the command with emule opened nothing happens, if I execute the command with emule closed it opens normally and nothing happens.

Sorry for double post, but I found another two issues in v0.70a.

1) KAD contacts

Until v0.60d when I bootstrap KAD with known users eMule loads 200 contacts from local nodes.dat file, with v0.70a eMule load only 50 contacts.
In addiction, after 1-2 seconds 50 loaded KAD contats disappears from GUI, remaining only 1 contact.
In this situation I need to load another nodes.dat from the web to speedup KAD nodes search.

I performed the test restarting before v0.60d and next v0.70a, both after near 6 hours of activity and near 500 green KAD contacts visible in GUI.

It is an intended behaviour change from v0.60d and v0.70a?

2) Corrupted files duplicated

For mistake I killed eMule process from Task Manager during a file (only one) download at high speed (CPU usage was near 100%).
When I opened eMule again, I see the file appears twice in GUI.
eMule started a file re-hash for suspicious corruption, but the yellow hashing bar appears only on one of two files.
When hashing ends, I restarted eMule and the GUI duplication disappeared (download proceed with no issues).

I know it can be only a minor GUI issue but I think it should be reported.

1) It was "always" with special bootstrap nodes.dat.
2) All sorts of bad things are possible in case of task kill, power loss or system crash. Manual verification and repair might be required after such events.

A number of bugs were reported after the release of eMule 0.70a:
- empty tab headers in searches
- collection files could not be opened
- random pop-ups

All these bugs are non-critical for the network; only tiny code changes were required for the fixes.
Hence an in-place update has been made on GitHub - the same version 0.70a, build number changed from 8 to 9.

Hi.

With version 7.0 I can't divide downloads into categories.

The downloaded files all end up in the "incoming" folder, although I have created categories, each with a different subdirectory, each with a different keyword to automatically recognize and categorize.
this worked normally with version 0.50a .I don't think I did anything wrong in configuring the categories.

Strange bug in 70a when attempting to increase my download speed. emule using 25% cpu (1 core out of 4) .
Stopped responding normally and became very erratic. The speed was set to approx 950 KB/s when
I attempted to increase it

Some combination of the limit check box and the slider was involved but I couldn't pin it down.
