Hi everybody:

Although I have both ports, TCP and UDP, open in my router, I get a low ID when I use a Torguard proxy. Otherwise, when I don't use a proxy I get a high ID.

Please let me know how I can fix that.

Jeremy

TOR doesn't support that you are reachable via IPv4 from other users in the internet. This is the reason why that doesn't work.

Thanks for your reply DJKuhpisse.
I'm not using TOR. I'm using Torguard: torguard.net
What do you suggest?

@hooligan3000
Not TOR. Torguard, and it is a pay VPN: torguard.net

It depends on which type of IPv4 address you get (IPv6 isn't supported by eMule at this time).
You need a public IPv4 address from the VPN-provider to get a high ID here (you are reachable from the outside).
Also, they must not use an SPI firewll to protect you from connections from the outside.
The IP must not be in the range of 192.16.0.0/16, 172.16.0.0/12 and 10.0.0.0/8.
Check that first.
