It's a well kept secret that the website is about 20 years old without any changes in design. And it will probably stay that way until the end of times :D

However, I decided to change the start page a bit, removing the by now slightly weird "eMule origin story" and donkey comparisions in favor for some short stream lined explanation of what eMule actually is.

Any translation of that to our countless languages would be very welcome :) Just post the translated text as answer and I'll update it as soon as possible.

Sometimes eMule can be a bit overwhelming for new users. But worry not! Our community is here to help. Check out our support pages which explain all the its functions and try to answer the most questions. If you can't find an answer there, you can visit our forum and ask your questions there. Or you use eMule's build in IRC function to look for advice from other users.
However, please don't forget that those are not paid support staff but just users like you who are willing to help in their free time.

I also suggest updating server list sites at Help - Servers - Addresses to Server Lists page to www.emule-security.org and shortypower.org
Those 2 are long time active and provide working server lists.
Peerates has changed its list to text only so there is nothing to click or download, could be complicated for new users...

Updated and Legit Emule Server Lists are available here:
www.emule-security.org/ and shortypower.org
You can also enable options for updating server list from a connected server and clients
in order to have all currently available servers listed in your Emule software.
