I’m using Emule v60.c for a week now.

I got a server list from here
www.emule-security.org/serverlist/
and everything’s working fine. I have servers, I can connect to them, they’re working.
I simply clicked “Add servers to emule”, Emule fetched them by itself, wonderful.

I have a minor annoying bug. When I start Emule, I get this annoying pop-up:

“No server list address entry in "adresses.dat" found. Please paste a valid server list address into this file in order to auto-update your server list.”

How can I fix it?

Here -- www.emule-security.org/e107_plugins/faq/faq.php?0.cat.6.6 -- it says
“Download the file nodes.dat and place it to emule/config folder.”
Done it. Pop-up still appears. What can I do?

Thank you.

(Edited to add "SOLVED".)

Hello and thank you for replying.
First, I can't find a "list icon" anywhere in the Server tab. I have the "Update server.met from URL" field, which I've tried unsuccessfully.

I noticed that my Emule didn't have a "config" folder, so I created it manually. Restarted Emule, everything the same.
Then I created a "nodes.dat" file from Notepad and put it in the "config" folder. Restarted Emule, everything the same.
Then I created a "adresses.dat" file from Notepad and placed it on the main Emule folder, them on the "config" folder", then I copied the URL http: // upd.emule-security.org/server.met into it. Restarted Emule every time, none of this made any difference.
Emule is working, is fetching the servers, annoying pop-up “No server list address entry in "adresses.dat" found. Please paste a valid server list address into this file in order to auto-update your server list.” still appears every time Emule starts.

Any ideas? How do I fix it or get rid of it?

Ah! You meant the Options tab -> Server!
Then click "List..." icon (yes, that list icon!).
So I did it right this time, clicked List... and the adresses.dat file opened (maybe the one I had just created, because there wasn't one before, and I copied the server URL into it, and now I got rid of the idiot pop-up! Solved!

The adresses.dat file I created is currently on the Emule main folder. But I had to create it myself. My version of Emule v0.60c didn't have it or it didn't create this file automatically.

Anyway, solved! Thank you very much!
