Hi,
As a Christmas present, I now have a shiny new computer to replace my laptop.

The 17" screen laptop with external portrait monitor has been a reliable servant over the years, left on for 24/7 except for Windows Updates when it reboots, but it has worn out keyboard keytops, slow hard disk, and cannot be upgraded for more RAM.
I've looked at the avenues to wring more performance out of it and have decided to cut my losses. Time for it to be retired as my main machine.
The laptop runs Win10 32bit home, and the new PC runs Win10 64bit pro.
After many years of downloading and many terabytes of transfer, I would like to preserve my statistics and ranking.
On the old machine, I have eMule 32 bit running. I would like to have the latest 64 bit version of eMule on the new machine.

Step by step please,
  • a) what files do I need to install?
  • b ) where?
and what needs to be copied from the old machine to the new:
  • c) before installation?,
  • d) after installation but before connecting? and
  • e) after connection?,
to preserve all the current configuration, pointers, data, and statistics?
  • f) is there any files I need to ignore and not transfer to my new machine?
This is getting done over the holidays, so I have plenty of time and patience to get it right. No pressure.
I have backups, spare externally connected drives, etc for transfer.
Issue is what files and locations so that shutting one machine down and starting the new one is completely transparent and nothing is lost?
Any advice appreciated.

There is no special x64 version listed there, but the normal x86 version will work on Win 10 x64.
Download 0.60a, 0.50a is really old.

You need to copy Incoming and Temp to keep the already downloaded files and the files still being downloaded.
Stop eMule before copying Temp.

See this for configuration files: https://www.emule-pr...ic&topic_id=106

Thanks. I forgot about that list of file descriptions. I will yell if I have any issues.
