do you really mean that the NEW vers of emule 0.60a for which also US have spent time testing is really NOT compatible with the updates of an its
important dll as mediainfo..??..it is really so astonishing and uncredible..this is really why i continue asking for , cause for me is really
non logical and uncredible...but i see well yr behaviour that instead of being educated with yr -testers- who i repeat spent also their precious time

A minor in-place update was made to the 0.60a release (the build number is 7).
This should fix the bug with auto priorities in shared files.
Also it allows mediainfo.dll 20.09.

Ticking the "Start minimized" option does not stay ticked x64 portable.
Clicking on a file to show media info, some files the info flashes.
Any chance of getting auto reload of shared files?

The reason for seeing these square blocks instead of normal characters should be that the font, which is used in the search results in your system, has no such characters.
For a test, I added the string 恶夜迷魂 to a different file name in search result, and all characters were displayed correctly.

All versions including community versions show the duration of the videos in the shared files database.

My mean is myself sharedfile name send to server ,server seach sharedfile name.I doesn't seach out myself sharedfile.but i used 0.50a seach myself sharedfile name，it is ok.
The sharedfile name was Chinese font.
Maybe 0.60a send myself sharedfile name of Chinese character to server is not correct.

To deal with the two recently reported issues, Github release was updated in place (build number 8).
Changes were too small for a version change.

Re-download is recommended for users running earlier builds.

Hi everyone, I just installed the Emule version 0.60a after installing the previous version 0.51d.
I immediately noticed that the preview of video and audio files that with version 0.51d worked correctly with the new version does not work at all.
I am running Windows 10 Pro 20H2 build 19042.610.
I've tried version 0.60a on several machines and all have the preview bug.
Any suggestions?

I have the issue with video preview too.
VLC video player x64 is configured in eMule v0.60a x64 (build 8)

Thanks, I also tried with the latest version on github but the problem persists both on W10 pro 20H2 build 19042.610 and on Windows 7 pro.
Regardless of the video player that I select in the emule options to see the previews, when I download a file the preview button remains gray and is not clickable.
Emule is correctly configured to download the parts needed for previews and trying to download the same file with version 0.51d instead the preview works fine on every machine.
I am perplexed.

Solution. Double click the file to play, find the exe of the video player you want to use and the preview will work
