I hadn't been paying attention and only just noticed that the 6.x version was out. Previously I used the Xtreme mod - but am happy to switch back to a newer version without the mods as I didn't use most of the additional features.
It's great to see that this project is not dead - after such a long period with no real updates.
I downloaded the 64 bit version - am wondering though why it isn't the default and you have to go to a different site to find it. Nearly all PCs have ben 64 bit for a fair while now and even fairly old ones are running 64 bit windows. At some point, does the default become the 64 bit version, with the 32 bit one as the optional choice if people need it?

So, I've been running into an issue with decompression of files in emule lately. They apparently have a compression ratio of something like 6% or so and then endlessly decompress until they buffer overflow and crash not only the program, but the entire OS. I would call this a high priority bug since it affects the entire OS even when UAC virtualized. Looks like there needs to be some work done on the decompression code to verify that it's actually able to decompress properly and sanely.

I'm using 0.60d on a Windows 10 computer (with 16GB RAM and i7-7700HQ) and when I donwload at full speed (1Gbps) it consumes 100% CPU and almost freezes the computer.
I don't have the same problem when I download files using Torrent (or even with Chrome), they use less than 20% of my processor).
Any new version?

how about change speed capacities from KB/s to MB/s now that most of the world have at least 1 MB/s connections?
