Hello,
I looked quickly through some threads here but I didn't quite find what I need.
Just not long ago eMule started to crash and freezing the whole PC. Sometimes with a blue screen but mostly without; Just frozen.
I do have a feeling that it might have something to do with NVIDIA, because it kind of started around one of their updates but I'm not quite sure of it. I even rolled back the driver now but seems that doesn't work either. I'm not sure what is triggering this.
I use Windows 7 Professional 64bit and eMule 0.50a.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Quick Update: I've uninstalled GeForce Exprience and checking to see if this solves anything. The problem is, once my PC freezes, I have to do multiple reboots as it wouldn't start correctly or freezes at some point in the process (and most of the time I can hear the sounds of the system as if Windows is indeed running but the display is frozen on the "Windows Starting" logo) - all that makes me suspect NVIDIA further for this malfunctioning.

Your issue sounds more like an hardware issue than an eMule issue.
How do you know that eMule is at fault here? Your PC runs normal without eMule?
Maybe better check for memory errors.

eMule runs in user mode, therefore it should never cause BSOD by itself.
Drivers, mostly heavily used network, disk and video, or faulty hardware usually are the main suspects.
But first, you could check file system for errors and run repair tools (dism, sfc).
And no malware should be there too.

Yes. Freezing only happens when i run eMule (but it was OK some time ago). I've been running the PC for days now without running eMule and no freezing or anything. I've uninstalled NVIDIA's GeForce Experience because I noticed such problems started around some of their driver's update or so.
However, I've been busy lately and couldn't test eMule after uninstalling GeForce Experience. I don't want any crashes at the moment as I have so much to be done. Hopefully I will test the theory later.
Thanks!

I will check along with that when I get the time
I've been busy lately and couldn't run eMule again after uninstalling GeForce Experience - I'm hoping that uninstalling this would resolve the problem but I don't want to risk it now as I've been busy lately
Thanks again!
