Hi to all,
there is some problem when the working dirs (like download dir) are set to a SMB share like \\<IP>\ShareName
Randomically emule says "Insufficient disk space" and pause the download.
It seems there is some problem in getting available disk space from a SMB share.

The "Insufficient disk space" diagnostics mostly appear when eMule tries to increase the size of the file being downloaded.
File operations were designed so that all drives could be treated uniformly, be it a network share or a local disk.
In practice, shared drives might take longer to respond or even be temporarily unavailable. WiFi connections might be particularly unreliable.
What could be tried?
1. Check your network - switches, routers, cables, network card drivers etc.
2. If possible, keep Temp directory on local drive, and move completed downloads to shares.
3. If not, try to set options to allocate full file when starting downloads, thus avoiding frequent attempts to extend temporary files.

That's interesting.
I moved everything on shared drives because of the big variability of temp size dir, that was quite difficult to manage on local drive.
I'll try to allocate the full file and see what happens.
Thank you very much
EDIT:
Is the
"Allocate full file size for non-sparse part files"
the option we are talking about?

You got the option correctly.
Have you ever thought about limiting the number of simultaneous downloads?
Two more options: add downloads in paused mode and start next file when a file completes.

Also feel free to search in the forum about network shares.
People who use shared drives might have something useful to say.
