My Windows 10 system underwent an automatic update 2 nights ago, and since it happened, I can only get LowID on E-Mule and Firewalled / Firewalled on Kad. Everything was fine before that. I have checked port forwarding settings on my cable modem, and they are unchanged from the ones that were working fine for many months. E-mule is still on the Windows Firewall "exceptions" list just as always. Just to be sure, I turned all firewalls off, re-started, then tried E-Mule again, but no change.

I have made no other updates to E-Mule or anything else in the time period in question -- no OS or software changes or installations / removals AT ALL.

I tried UpnP, but it finds my TCP port to be unreachable. There has been ZERO change in E-mule settings and ZERO change in modem / security settings.

Can anyone suggest what might have happened, or how to fix it?

After a week with no replies, I'm bumping in hopes someone can help. I have tried everything I can and have searched through previous threads, but to no avail.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Well, I found the solution elsewhere. Pretty subtle, and even knowing the problem, I could find no indication of anything posted here. Surprised more Comcrap / Xfinishit users have not shown up here to raise the issue.

Disappointed not to have received any response at all here. I'll focus on other forums for any future problems, I guess.
