Continuing from the point of eMule 0.50b, unofficial build.

What had changed
Using Visual Studio 2017
AsyncSocketEx code updated to the latest from Filezilla server
Allow loading Mediainfo.dll up to the version 18.03
Purge duplicate AICH hashsets from known2_64.met
HTTPS connection for Web interface (SSL/TLS)
A few changes and bug fixes in smIRC
UTF-8 for IRC
Bug fixes in eMule and libraries.
Basic parsing for magnet links

eMule behaves quite well, but the changes were substantial and testing is required.

Files could be downloaded from this link
One archive contains executable, the other one has a replacement for webserver directory, and Web Interface templates. Though Web Server would mostly work without replacement.

To use HTTPS you need a certificate file (public key) and a key file (private key).
These could be generated with, for example, OpenSSL utilities.
Another option for a test - to use any of online services that generate self-signed certificates (just goole for it).

Then allow HTTPS in Options -> Web Interface, select location of the generated files - and try to connect with a browser using a link like https://localhost:4711. Do not skip https:// prefix if HTTPS was enabled, because by default browsers try to add http://.

There should be a warning that certificate could not be verified, but that is expected for self-signed certificates. The certificate could be added as a permanent exception if necessary.

That's great!!! Many thanks fox88 for your dev work!

I've just upgrade to 0.51A my 24/7 linux wine emule station.

Please let we know if we need to test something specific.

Magnet links deemed to be a good idea. Unfortunately, after many years there are odd "enhancements", but no real standard.
Still these links might be somewhat useful for eMulers for input; no creation of magnet links is planned.

How to use.
Whereever ED2K lins are accepted, it is possible to try a magnet link - to paste or to drag & drop.
Or even to tweak the registry for automatic handling similar to ED2K links processing. Registry tweak for ED2K should be somewhere in the Docs, and it could be used as a template, no automation for this was planned.

If the link is malformed, there should be an error message in the logs.

Thanks.
Stable upload and download in the first place; maybe slightly less processor usage.
Next, you could pay attention to any of the rest of the things in the list of changes.
