No Kad Contacts After Emule Reinstall

I had to reinstall eMule after a Windows crash and I got the server side setup, but I can't seem to fill in contacts in Kad. Usually I can just connect to a server (done), then click bootstrap and it starts downloading contacts. Did something change on that side?

eMule used to bootstrap from known clients if there are uploaders or downloaders.
Getting nodes.dat might be another option.

Thanks, I got in. I forgot about the part of having an active download running.
