Wne I find a file to download when running Emule it starts, then for example it might get to 50% and I will close Emule and resatart later. The file is not shown in the download list, however any other file that's not started (zero%) will show up. Its frustrating because I have to start all over again. I am just downloading video (.mpg or .avi etc). These files are stored in folder download/temp and are still there but don't show on Emule. Any complete file will move from TEMP to download folder. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong!

Hi,
maybe it is sth. as simple as you having your emule's transfer window set to display "paused files" ?
Do a right.mouse-button click on the "tab header", top right corner by default (in this picture - by default - it says "All", but that depends on what you set it to display), "Select View Filter" and choose either:
- "All" (then, should you have lots and lots of paused files, sort by "progress" by just clicking on "progress")
- or "Paused" and then do it again and choose "Negate Filter" -> this combo shows only those files not paused.
-----------------
Also, just to be safe, make sure your antivirus stuff does not watch over eMule's temp directory, there is no gain in having it inspect incomplete files, it is sufficient if it inspects files on completion.
