New user here. After installing eMule0.50a, attempting to connect to any of the server it says the server is dead. I did a tracert and the server is still there. Tried to connect to Kad and couldn't reach anything. I am using comcast, are they blocking emule traffic?

Hi,
sorry, I don't know anything about comcast.
traceroute should not really mean a thing -that someone under that address answers that does not mean they have an ed2k server running.
for starters, follow instructions in xilolee's post here: https://forum.emule-...l=&fromsearch=1

Thanks for the help. I was using default emule server that came with the package. I tried eDonkeyServer No2, PeerBooster, etc, but all of them seems to be dead? When I ping the IP, it seems to be alive. As for Kad, I clecked on Recheck Firewall, it just says response is 0. I'll try out the link you've provided.
