Hi All,
I,m A newbie to this forum but, have been using eMule for many years!

I'm asking for help on modifying my searches to reduce unrelated in the results! For example: if i search for a car magazine called "Car Magazine" I will get results for every magazine with "Car" and "Magazine" even words containing them e.g. "CARlos", "CARpet" and in any order.

I have tried eMule for Help. Even my Boolean knowledge from 50years ago was unable to help!

I am someone on this forum will have the answer to my problem?

That could be a feature (or a bug) of KAD search.
Server search (global) should behave in a more expected way.

For Kademlia search:

Kademlia always searches for one keyword, and then takes the other searchterms as filter to the search results.

eMule will automatically make the more "complex" (longer) term the keyword for the search, and any other term(s) will become filter(s) for the search.
So in your case you will get results that contain exactly magazine - not magazines, nor magazino nor any such.

"car" as a filter however only needs to be there in whatever form and/or combo.

To force car being taken as the keyword and magazine the filter, which for some searches does already the trick*: put magazine into an a boolean OR
example : car (magazine OR lar4f8zhäzD)
it does not need to be lar4f8zhäzD, any sufficiently weirdo character combo that does not really exist in filenames will do, and not disturb with additional search results.

*this should find you files named car magazine, car magazines, but not files named eg. Carson City magazine.

Also of course restricting searches to max. filesize: so-so, type, and such reduces clutter.
