accidentally, in eMule at the shared files, I selected my whole directory with finished torrent downloads (300 GB), right clicked, and then selected "delete from disk".
I did this because I was under the wrong impression that this would only un-share these files.
But as eMule already told me, it actually deleted the files from disk.
My mistake, I know.
I checked the recycle bin for my 300GB of files, and the files were there. But not all of them...
Since my recycle bin its size is 100GB, only 100GB of my files were there. 200GB eMule could not move to the recycle bin and thus were missing.
But always when I wrongly delete files, I can use the program R-undelete to undelete these files.
But to my disappointment, R-undelete did not show any of the files which eMule deleted.
Quite terrible situation, because I lost 200GB of data now.
I seems like when eMule deletes files, it deleted files in such a way that recovery will no longer be possible.
Is this correct?
Does anybody have an idea of how to get back the remaining 200GB ??
Greetings, Robert
