Hi all,
i need help with an issue that i didn't encounter yet.
I configured the connection to a static IP and opened the TCP and UDP port for emule and when i launch emule everything seems to work fine, but after a while the ports get blocked.
Even if i change the ports right away, same thing happens.
Iv'e noticed that if i shut down emule and relaunch it, the ports are available again but again for a short while.
client: v0.50a Xtreme 8.1
Router: DIR-825AC
OS: win7
Any ideas?

Hi Helepolis. 
Did you untick "use upnp to setup ports" in emule options connection?
Are you using other PCs? Did you set a static ip to them?
If your router allows to set an IP for your devices, in its dhcp parameters, you can use the automatic connection instead to put a static IP to your PCs.
What antivirus/antilogger/antimalware/antispyware and firewall are you using?
Are you using ipfilters/VPNs/proxies/other?
Did you untick "use upnp to setup ports" in emule options connection?

Hi.
The upnp is unticked.
The PC with emule in it is the only one with a static IP on it and there are no conflicts with other devises.
I'm not familiar with the auto connect option.
About the antivirus/antilogger/antimalware/antispyware and firewall, all of the relevant programs are set to allow free incoming and outgoing connection for emule.
What is most perplexing is that before that i had no problems at all with the connection, then i had to completely delete emule and reinstall it (no formatting was done).

Try to change ports in emule and in the router.
I was "talking" about the "Obtain an ip address automatically": if you use your router dhcp settings to assign IPs to all of your devices, you don't need to put a static ip to your connection.

Overloaded routers might behave this way.
