How Do I Unsubscribe From This Forum?

Generally, forums do not provide the unsubscribe option, because unsubscribing is meaningless and potentially dangerous; just don't use it, nobody will bother you from this board.

Sorry that you feel that way that you think informative forum like this has no use for you but as Zangune stated to add to that there is no option to delete yourself from setting so you have to be unconventional. One you can still keep your user for the future but disable email notifications and two you can update your email to a random email in which case it will need to be validated status so as you don't have access to it just forget about it and your done.

the email system works for private messages at least.

I thought forums just delete members after a certain amount of time

I assumed that forums just deleted members after a set period of time.
