Emule Won't Minimise On Windows 10

Since upgrading to Windows 10 I can often no longer minimise eMule; I have to restart it to get back to the Desktop.
Anyone else having this issue?
Thanks in advance, Matt.

The problem was in the internal flag which quite often got stuck in incorrect state.
Possible fix was posted here quite a while ago, but never made it to official code.

Never had the Problem until Windows 10, so it's not old for me. I will search and see if solution works in Windows 10.

Just searched, nothing obvious, any idea roughly how long ago, or topic title? Thanks.

The word code implied that recompilation of eMule was required.
Will you do that?

I was politely asking a simple question as a technical Newbie, even though I have been on this forum a long time, but I still understand the meaning of the word code. I am very sorry to have bothered you.
Since this is a public forum and I cannot block you; I would respectfully ask that you do not reply to this, or any other of my posts. Thank you.

I can't see this problem on my side; windows 10 and emule 0.50b beta1.
If you are using the latest release (0.50a), you could try to overwrite it with the beta (emule must be closed before you upgrade it).
Check also the obvious: options, display, minimize to system tray should be ticked!
Or are you "talking" about "minimize to taskbar"?

Not sure if windows 10 is prone to this issue more than previous windows version, but it did happen and a perfect fix would be most welcome.
djmattybigbig:
You might need to avoid minimization of eMule during automatic-switching of wallpapers of windows 10, or just set a fixed wallpaper, which may minimize the chance of getting into that kind of trouble.

If you search through internet you will find that the problem is shared between more than an application.

But i found a workaround! You have to make sure that some other program is already in the system tray. Given that, emule minimizes for sure.
Maybe emule is kind of shy and has fears about empty places?

I write to report that the bug is still present in latest version (v0.60b x64), but I not experienced it in x86 versions.
I use Windows Server 2016 (with lastest patches).
I confirm the workaround of deselect the option "minimize to tray" works.
But after doing that, if I do that and click on "Apply" in options window the options window won't close if I click on OK button (I must click on X button).
I hope that in next versions this bug will be fixed.
EDIT: seems that the problem is fixed running Emule in Windows 7 compatibility mode (no admin right needed).
