Hi Guys,

I am trying to compile/build eMule 0.5a in VS2010. The solution with in the source unfortunately is not. So, I let vs2010 to convert eMule_vs71-all.sln to vs2010 project. The conversion log says all projects were converted OK. But when I try to compile, It fails. I get 1 build succeeded and 4 fails. I am trying to build within the VS2010 IDE (using the full UI), not thru command line.

My first guess is I am missing some libraries etc or not building projects in the right order(this is my first open source project). I have gone thru the forum and found some other people with vs2010 issues and seemed they have solved them, but I have yet to find a build guide. So, Is there an available step by step build/compile tutorial that some one has published that I can use. OR point me in the right direction.

Here are the seven errors I get (with 191 warnings)

I can post the entire build log too.

Any help will be appreciated.

Well, you seem to be missing the libs. you shure you added them properly? Some (mod) packages include all required libs, the original sources for 0.50a don't.
