We Have Received A Dmca File Sharing Complaint - Vpn

We have received a DMCA file sharing complaint and the date, time, and IP address provided matches the date, time, and IP address your VPN account was in use. Illegal file sharing is against our terms of service and we cannot ignore DMCA take-down requests, as such we kindly ask you to stop sharing said files to comply with this request. Please note repeated offences may result in permanent suspension.
---------
So can I do something against that, other that to stop upload (sharing files on my computer) or to stop to use eMule?
Big Brother (DMCA and other crap rich and thieves like that) win?

Dude I don't know if you know but VPN are not free. And I'm not the son of miserly and crazy Bill Gates.
I think "Gold Age" of eMule is over now.
Some know better P2P program who hide what we share (download/upload) or at least our IP (VPN or not)?

Of course there are alternatives... RetroShare, Ants, etc. are anonymous BUT of course they have far inferior performance than traditional P2P applications.

I'm working on a client that will provide reasonable high transfer speeds while maintaining anonymity of the communicating parties, by means of a mash multi hoop routing.
The system will allow for various security settings depending on ones needs, and full deniability, meaning that even with no real security,0 hoops no one will be able t prove that you initiated the action and ware not just a mear legal protected conduit for someone else's anonymity channel.
So you will be able to run the most part of the network using a minimal amount of hoops 0 or 1 while maintaining the highest level of deniability.
See related article from rick on the topic: http://falkvinge.net...g-culture-stfu/
The one acusing you has the burden of prove of your guilt, you don't have to prove to be innocent, you can just lean back and let then GTFO
Our novel network concept, incorporating 10 years of experience on the field of safely defeating censorship and other atempts to block the spread of informations, should give P2P file sharing a second coming.

Your proposed network scheme does neither sound "novel" nor would it work because of liability for disturbance/interference that is in effect e.g. in Germany - and opening your WLAN would be one of the most stupid things to do - comparable to leaving your car with open doors and the keys still in there.
Still voting for the pirates and hoping for a change of the system - but until that is the case: stick to the rules!

With the minimum amount of informations i gave you you can not asses that, wait for the finished version and a detailed description and be astonished.

The world is not Germany, in civilized countries there are no such mad legal constructs as disturbance/interference, in the rest of Europe you can act as a TOR node without the fear of legal troubles.
As about Germany the law about disturbance/interference says about taking reasonable precautions against abuse, if the system is relaying encrypted data, there is no reasonable precaution you can take to prevent relaying of infringing data, those you can relay them legally.

Even in Germany it is legal to be a TOR exit node, TOR is not a open WiFi
The same applies to my network concept, it works technically different than TOR but legally it is the same thing.

As said, it doesn't matter how you do it, as long as you ARE transferring copyrighted material, the mentioned laws are violated and your system fails.

No it isn't but if you're thinking that laws will be relaxed in the near future, you're at least as mad yourself. I'm pretty sure similar laws are to be expected for other countries, soon.
I know that there are always some "holes" or "gray areas" that can be exploited but you know - and THEY know it, too - that you're walking a dangerous path and small changes in the existing laws would break your system, again.
I'm not totally against it, I'm just saying that it's not the correct way to handle such a situation... that would be to CHANGE the system and its laws so that you don't have to violate (or work around) existing laws... having that said: "Vote the Pirates!"

Well, but thay are not broken by the perople you can identify, see my quoted article.
And thats the whole point, if you can not identify the person who is breaking a law you can not prosecute it.

I'm pretty sure you are wrong, the whole legal concept of this Störerhaftung, is border lining on a human rights violation, those it is very unlikely to be exported out of Germany to other countries.

There is no "better" P2P program than eMule.
While anonymous VPNs (which don't log your access) may cost a bit more than others, just because it is rather expensive to run a VPN service with enough technical mechanisms to ensure your safety, it is well worth the money. See, VPNs completely hide you. It is not only good for using eMule (and sharing such files) where it can well save you a lot of money, it is also good for your overall privacy.
Save 10 dollars a month and invest them into a reasonable VPN access. Well-spent money IMO.

By employing a VPN, you'll hook up with a US-based server to observe Netflix, Veoh, Panda or Hulu. You’ll conjointly hook up with a UK-based server to access BBC iPlayer. With the assistance of a VPN, you'll be assured that no cyber attacks or viruses can have an effect on you throughout your web usage. The protection a static IP VPN grants you is unexceeded.

Please name the VPN so everyone can avoid them, a VPN that keeps logs is a pointless ripoff. I've been using PrivatVPN but the connection has an annoying tendency to conk out after a few hours and the client crashes occasionally.
