I'm using e-mule in Windows 7 x64 Ultimate with the Aero UI.
No matter if I check or uncheck "Minimize to system tray", I always get the usual 3 buttons at the upper right corner of the window (minimize (to task bar), restore/maximize and close). The fourth button with the dot (minimize to system tray) never appears.

Curiously, with "minimize to system tray" unchecked, if I click in the empty area next to default minimize button, emule minimizes to the system tray, as if there were a fourth button there but invisible. The clickable area is less than the width of the default minimize button. I'm using the default Aero skin without changes to sizes of the elements or other strange things that could mess up with the UI.

you should work on the "customize" in the system try area ...... and choose "show icon and notifications" :angelnot:

It's a known bug/issue. I am using that invisible button for a long time, no problem, just a visual issue. I don't know if devs have a plan about it or not, i wish they have.

Hi! The problem is not with the system tray but with the minimize/restore/close area of the eMule window.
As the topic that omeringen pointed out says, there seems to be no solution to this in Aero themes for the moment. Skype adds a fourth button to this area, but I think the entire window of skype is custom made since the look of the other buttons doesn't match the look of the standard buttons in Aero.

So I think we must keep using that invisible button for a long time. :-/
