Hi I downloaded e-mule today and have spent a good couple of hours trying to get it to work, but no matter what I do I cannot get a download speed above 5kb. Heres the stuff I've done so far:
- Port forwarded, port test passed for TCP and UDP
- Set the download/upload ratio to the correct settings for decent broadband according to the guide provided in this forum
- Turned off Download Limit
- Attempted downloads with several well sourced files
- Updated my server list via the method provided in this forum
- Made sure I have a High ID rating for ED2K, KAD gives an ID number but no rating, but can see search results from KAD
- Obfuscated in case of ISP throttling
In statistics-downloads-session it said 'Failed download sessions:24 (89%) and in the session-downloaded data-ports section it says 100% of my downloads has come from 'other ports' and none from 'default port' so I tried changing the port number and forwarded the new one and still no luck.
As a new user I'm kinda at the limit of my knowledge, I'd appreciate help from more experienced users.

Be patient, emule is a p2p fliesharing program, your downloading from others' uploading, most time you are queuing.
