This is the new DLP thread I'll be maintaining.

Here is v44.
Changes:

Quote

(re-)added sharing devils (apparently they are back to leeching)
added MorphJC (bad 'Justice CS' and PBF on incomplete files
added MaGiX (default modstring of bad mod)

Have fun.

The ScarAngel and the Mephisto mod are coded in a way they will automatically download the new version for you. If you, however, stick to the Xtreme or use any other eMule mod that uses this antileech.dll follow the link below to get the latest version of the DLP:
AntiLeech44

Stulle

No, there will not be a new version of my mods. No, I do not want your PM. No, I am certain, use the board and quit sending PMs. No, I am not kidding, there will not be a new version of my mods just because of YOU asking for it!

This is just an intermediate release that is intented not to break compatibility. A new version will be released in a couple of days.

Once again thank you for your work :respect:

But Stulle, I'm curious to understand what you mean with " intermediate release that is intented not to break compatibility ", will the new version after this one you posted, not work with Xtreme 6.1?

Thank you :flowers:

no no, nothing like that. wizard created this version while i created an own one myself. his aim was to enable users to defend themselves from evil chinese leecher mods. unfortunately, might an "update" from his v32 to the official (my) v32 fail due to the equal version number so wiz and i thought it would be best to release his version as the official v32 and then update that one later so anyone who used his v32 to the date will not have to update and every body else will use that one for the moment and later everyone can get back into the original development line starting v33.

hope that wasn't too confusing. ;)

if that is the case it has not been loaded properly. place the antiLeech.dll.new in your emule directory (the one emule.exe is in) and press "reload". if it does not work stop emule, place antiLeech.dll.new in the same directory as emule.exe, rename it to antiLeech.dll and start emule anew.

Try to delete both antileech files you have on your eMule directory, and then download v33 to the directory ( it has to have the name antiLeech.dll ) :)

Hope it helps :)

Someone dumped my Mule poor,
Tore his pads, no hope to mend.
But I'll never leave him, sure,
Cause I love my fluffy friend!

Stulle, did you use "my" v32 .dll to create this one? (I think so... then, credits are due...)
Some notes:
  • "VMULE 2007" is never sent as a clientversion but as a modstring, I'd check for VMULE
  • same goes for "Goop.co.il" - check for co.il as modstring is sufficient
  • same goes for "L!()Netw0rk"
  • I suggest separating the modversion and clientversion checks
  • I think "futuremod" should be "futuremods"

wizard, like we discussed in our PMs I published your v32 a while ago giving proper credits which have now been removed due to the new version and the fact you did not directly contribute to that one. however, credits were given at the right time. you just have missed the release and thus the corresponding post.

as for your suggestions, thanks. the first three are of course right. i trusted a bit too much in zz_fly there... speration is a possibility but then, if i use different functions i will need to change the code within the mod and thus loose backward compatibility. other scenario would be to seperate it within the function but this does not bring a real benefit either. and no, both seem to be right. please enter the URL in your browser. i suppose JvA found out they changed it a bit by now.

EDIT: See here: http://forum.emule-p...s...st&p=974918

@ rest: really sorry, i grabbed the wrong file for uploading. please redownload. btw, fixed the errors wiz mentioned.

@Wiz
if you block "co.il", you might block legit mods (maybe not now but in the future...)
just block "goop", it's the site's name for ages, they most likely won't change it anytime soon.

I'm failing to see why someone will want to add common sufix (.com/.net/.co.XX/...) within modstr - however whatever ...

While at it, few hacked AJs are missing (binary edited AppeleJuice versions) that are "popular" among Israeli leechers :

L"T1N 8OOSTER"
L"T L N B O O S T"
L"T~L~N BOO$T"

perhaps there some more alike ...

BTW: there are some new non leecher Israeli communities (yes they do exist - although they are an extinct race :P ) craving for localized versions of official mods
P2P is about sharing, ed2k is my choice !

i saw some clients with these nicknames using a aj-mod, and its an url too. i think they changed it by hand but it's not a fault to ban them too. its a url to their site and a nick used by aj-users.

I meant separating the 2 lists thus avoiding mixing "clientversions" with "modversions" and getting a better overview.
If they changed the string, fine... I'd still keep the old one, though...
