Insert nuke-feeds (websites have to mainpain their own if they want too). If something is nuked a popup will appear and will ask you to remove the nuked-file. XML-sheet like this.

<nuked2k>
<item>
<url>ed2k://|file|this is a nuked file.rar|348576|26970298476|/</url>
<reason>This file has been nuked because of archive-error</reason>
<alternative>ed2k://|file|this is an alternative.iso|36378|2096872987|/</alternative>
<alternative>ed2k://|file|this is an second alternative.bin|36678|205673372987|/</alternative>
</item>
</nuked2k>

If you think it is an good idea, we can work it out more clearly.
Please send an PM with this text if you are gonna remove it. So I have an copy of the idea :)

Is it possible to modify USS to Manually enter max and min ping values that to a good point match one's connection values under heavy or light traffic load.

I am not a coder but I'll explain simply:
Set two options.
MinPing = ?
MaxPing = ?

Get CurrentPing
CurrentPing = ?

Choose one from three cases.
1. if CurrentPing >= MaxPing then UploadSpeed = MinUploadLimit # "Throttle speed down"
2. if CurrentPing <= MinPing then UploadSpeed = MaxUploadLimit # "Full Speed"
3. UploadSpeed = MaxUploadSpeed * ((CurrentPing - MinPing) / (MaxPing - MinPing)) # "Dynamicaly adjust speed"

For some reason "most obviously because I have no coding experience" I do not like the Idea my self but a friend of mine suggested it so... :confused:

An option so that there won't be too many simultanious hard disk reading/writing. For example, if two big 3 GB files finish downloading almost at the same time when they start rechecking the hash or whatever you call it, it'll take a lot longer because the hard disk's head will be going back and forth from one file to the other all the time. Couldn't it do one and when it finishes do the next one?

I'm not too sure if this is done either: if emule is hashing new files (it does it one by one so this is ok) and a file finishes downloading, it would be great if there were an option to enable a waiting state so that the rechecking of the dowloaded file waits untill the hashing of the new files is finished.

Basicly more or less what I'm proposing is that there could be an option to add a waiting state between when a file is completely downloaded and then it's checked and moved to the Incoming folder. If there is no hard disk intensive thing going on then do the checking, but if there's something hard disk intensive going on then leave it in a waiting state untill it finishes and after that do the checking.

I don't know if I expressed myself well enough so if you have any doubts just ask me and I'll try to explain myself a little better :-) I hope you find it useful :-)

what if the "fast wanted file" can't use the whole download speed?
using limits you can lock some bandwidth for a specific category and leave the rest files with the rest bandwidth.

it would be better if morph/stullemule could lower other categories download speed if the high priority one "needs" more bandwitdh

I would like to have two additional statistics fields for data that we currently have only snapshots for:
1. "Upload" / "Session" / "Uploaded Data" / "Upload Class", with entries "FS", "PS" and "other" (absolute and percentage values, would be my long-term check how well PS is working)
2. "Connection" / "Session" / "Upload" / "Average Number of Slots" (would be my long-term check how well slotfocus is working)

EDIT:
3. "Connection" / "Session" / "Upload" / "Average Percentage of Busy Time for Active Slots" (would be my long-term check for the efficiency of the buffering mechanism)

If the developers consider other statistical measures that would satisfy my intention better than those I requested, I'd be more than happy to get any of these instead.

I want dupe resolution assistance with the mass rename feature. Right now it just gives a very innacurate line number.

I also want a resizable mass-rename window for those very long filenames.

How about a standalone windows port of mass rename? A cross of Morph's Mass Rename and File Renamer Basic would be really cool (can't do easy type-in touchups with FileRanamer).

Can we have country flags on message tabs? When someone sends me a message I would like to know where he's from so that I may switch language where appropriate. Also I could instantly recognize what language the message is in that I was being sent.
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

A feature I'd like to see, which I suspect would be REALLY easy to implement, would be to sort by the second column in the "upload time" column. So you'd see your upload queue sorted by estimated transfer time remaining. It could be done as a two-column sort, just like the Requests column is under "Shared Files".

While you're editing it anyway, would it be possible to switch the (+?) time remaining to be the estimated time to completion of the next chunk?

You might also want to offer an estimated time to complete the entire file somewhere...I'm thinking of files that're powershared, for example, where in many cases, most or all of a file will be uploaded by the same client.

I don't know if everyone would agree, but I'd like to see an option never to pre-empt LowID clients, or at least to favour pre-empting HighID clients if there are any on the queue. (The idea, of course, being to kick off people who can get back on quite easily, as opposed to LowID's who typically can't.) Alternately, you could give an option to never pre-empt ANY clients, just bump them to the bottom of the queue and put them into Standby mode.

Obviously not everyone would want this (especially lower-speed users, I suspect), so you'd probably want to make it an option that defaults to off.

Well I've Think About Some New Notification Options As Alternative At The Existing Ones For Example

- Execute An External Command Passing Also Some Variables As Parameters (%filename% %freespace%)

- Send An Instant Message (with an account on irc/icq/msn/skype/yahoo for example)

- Send An SMS To A Mobile Number

In These Way We Can Be Notified Everywere If Something Goes Wrong Without Flood Our Inbox Folder :flowers:

Automatic actualization of the shared files when change the Incoming directory.

I change the Incoming directory with FTP Client. Therefore this function would be very good.

another feature requests about ipfilter:

a system to update them via ed2k links like in Ionix... so the servers hosting them will be hammered only a little... and the files will get spreaded via ed2k :)

http://emulepawcio.s...d2kipfilter.txt

:)

another requests... this one maybe more "affordable" and IMHOB very very very usefull :)

a dedicated MorphXT.ini config file... that will be loaded "a part"...

like what netfinity have done with his netf warp 2.0
http://forum.emule-p...howtopic=112379

actually the way of integrating all the mods preferences into the preferences.ini create a lot of troubles when moving from a mod to another... (i think that all the ppl here that tried stullemule and then reverting back to moprhxt have found credits and other things messed up :) )

having a dedicated (1mod = 1name) config file with only the additional mod config would help a lot..
maybe more "enforced" (you can exactly check all the preferences entries, and remove all the ones the mod do not recognize without being worried in removing additional data added by others mods :) )

a similar thing would help also with the statistics... as not all the mods support webcache and such things... adding all the new "entries" in a dedicated file would preserve the absolute and complete compatibility with the default size and values of the original emule .ini files and you make sure that specific stats will be added only when using that particular mod :)

I propose a new naming scheme. This is what zz proposed:

http://forum.emule-p...s...st&p=808404

:-k

I would say we stay away from the welsh names and use other interesting ones. I know a few German towns that would make nice versions :thumbup: .

Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

Just like in Stulle's mod display the number of MorphXT/Stulle mods (and other mods) in the statistics screen. It would be also nice to display MODs statistics based on MODid and versions in a tree style.

mod id -> mod ver. -> emule ver. -> # of clients

Clients
 -MODS
  -MorphXT
   - v8.10 <v0.47a> (#)
   - v9.1  <v0.47c> (#)

Regards

planning a feature that generates a tree for all mods but it will not contain the version number as you can simply view that in the already existing trees. so basicly this feature will show how many morphs, stullemules etc. exist.
