Saw that.... he has amazing ball control for his age / size!!!
Still, there are already more than a few Aussies carrying EU teams.
Our performance in the last World Cup was no fluke - only beaten by an Italian who would have taken the Olympic diving gold medal.

They had to go to 2 field Umpires - one in each half - to keep up with the game. You think 'soccer' players cover a lot of ground in a match? They have started tracking some players with GPS and some of the stats are amazing.

Marcus Hahnemann should be given a golden boot for that performance in net. Makes Van Der Saar look like he's a bit overpaid

God help the Lions if they have you as an athletic supporter! Truly, it is the best simply by it's lack of long delays, time-outs, and fake injuries. Those long leaps in the air, taking out 2-3 guys in the process to take the mark also is right up there with the stilts in basketball.
Unfortunately, I think the end is near for telecasts of AFL games here in Canada. They're putting them on early hours, tape delayed, and at the same time running ads for "Tanta" or "Tonta" or something like that - a Aussie satellite broadcaster no doubt - likely to be deployed up here real soon now. Once that happens, I doubt I'll get to see the Eagles, Crows, or Lions again

Werder Bremen - Dinamo Zagreb (CL qualification) : a very very lucky win for Werder in the first match. (Dinamo the better team)
Their new to-be-the-next-star Carlos Alberto - oh boy - everyone may have a bad day, but then they should not try stupid tricks without any need.
Werder Bremen - Bayern Munich 0:4
BUT I don't blame it on their shirts - Finally they binned those orange-green stuff and are back to the green and white

Tim Donaghy is an under-employed officiating resource who may be looking to the other side of the world for job opportunities! If he comes to a league near you, get yourself on his cell phone's speed dial list. While you may not get better officiating for your favourite team's matches, you'll at least have the ear of someone who can predict the outcome or your Bet With Fred (Why, oh why, when I watch Man U games does Fred always want me to give him my money?)

Hey another fellow Bremen fan .
Dunno Zagreb was harmless in the match against Bremen. They got away luckily with one strong half. So that might be enough to get into the CL this time. I hope some of the injured come back. I don't think any team in Europe can compensate 12-13 injuries.

Drizz will have to put on a few pounds to defeat some of the competitors they have here I don't know if they will give him more points for soiling the pool

God no, the first one has been shorn, what the hell do you hold on to when you are really giving it what for from behind
The second looks like it has a boyfriend already and you should never bat on a sticky wicket.
But damn the scarf really sets off her eyes
