Unknown Video File Format

Hi folks,

during the past few months I've downloaded several files that pretended to be movies in AVI format and also had the rifht size (~600MB), but were something else, and not even VLC would play them.
The header always looks like this

with the "GF!" always present.

anyone any ideas what format this is?

... unfortunately it's neither mp3 nor girlfriend files :-(
