 * if you start eMuleFuture and your incoming and/or temp directories aren't found (e.g. if you use an external HDD and haven't switched it on), 
   you are presented with a dialog with various options (cancel/try again/continue)

 * if you enter invalid chars in a kad search, you are asked whether you want eMF to strip the invalid chars

Just open it, you immediately notice a small visual bug in the button "Shared Files". S is not fully visible
Then, once changed the language, and set the Italian language, it has the same problem, but on two items: "Transfers" and File sharing: the T and F are not fully visible

Yes, well... that "intended", i.e. we would have to change the strings (use shorter ones) but that would somehow screw up its sense... so we have to live with that

While that WOULD be possible, it'd make eMF usage impossible on low resolutions... we had to choose one "evil" when we started with the new GUI.

and doing a fallback for that? i don't know what your current overall size is but IMO anything below 800x600 should be reasonable. and if this would exceed the limit you might just as well combine a button or two to a drop down or something. just saying...

It's the future, not 1995. Or so the mod's title claims. Give up on anything below 1024x768.

well, actually 800x600 should still be possible because this is at least the minimum resolution on my Win7 installation. additionally, running the program on a tiny netbook should still be possible and they got really crappy resolutions!

i noticed that clients upload speed changing between "Transfer" and "standby", many times, constantly .... see the video, i think it's strange.

and, what's the meaning of "block all server messages" ? i see the spam messages in the tab "server info", with & without this option.

AFAIR taz merged in the TS Xtended SF (as eMF is actually based on Xtended, now).

@LorenzoC: I'm wondering what's bugging you... there are several mods out there that feature a new (and IMHO better) GUI. Sure, some ppl won't like it but they'll get accustomed at some point... e.g. I, myself, was using the "Classic" Windows theme until you couldn't go back and I'm pretty familiar with the new theme, now.

First, let me say I am sure your mod is technically very good.

That said, what is bugging me...
As user, not being masochist, I don't appreciate anything that impairs software usability.
Emule should be redesigned from scratch because its usability is already terrible, this skinning further reduces Emule's usability A LOT, so I would say it is a step in the (very) wrong direction.

If you consider only the aesthetics, it is just plain outdated and "amateurish", those round buttons and icons, aliased texts, color picking (you can barely read the text, you don't recognize the buttons, etc) you can expect from somebody who has started playing with a drawing software 3 days ago.

It is like comparing this (just invert the time, like Phoenix with those yeallow round buttons was released today):

And add the fact that, while both versions of Phoenix/Firefox can be customized, in Emulefuture you can't customize ANYTHING.

Yes, I know the history of those "skins" and other mods with similar scheme. NONE of those improved Emule. Just to make it clear, the recently added "side bar" in Emule official is another example of wrong move. Totally useless because it just doubles functions already present in the "right click" menu and because you can't recognize what function corresponds to those buttons, just wastes some space in the transfer window, fortunately you can disable it.

you seem to forget that such a sidebar/toolbar was in fact requested by a great number of users who were fed up relying on the context menu. nevertheless is it possible for you to customize your view and just disable it.

there are indeed a few things i am not quite content with in official eMule but i just changed them so i won't have to bother anymore. most prominently my Advanced Transfer Window Layout... seriously, i never understood why we could not use split window to combine queue and upload list, for instance...!
