Look if "createcrashdump=1" is in your preferences.ini, or more simple: Move preferences.ini away to clear it.
-Remains the question: where did you get your emule.exe
-where did you getdbghlp.dll
-what os?

in the istaller there is the dbghelp.dll file.
i m using win xp home edition with the last official update.
i ve done a new istallation of emule using a new directory...now i dont have any problems with that dll but after 20 hours of working it crashes without any message of error......i don t understand why!!!
the crash can be caused by a ram problem?
i have:
win xp home edition updated.
2 gb of ram 667mhz
cpu conroe e6600
asus p5b

I v the same exact problem as monsters4 but every 24 hours.
Iv tried a new installation of emule (0.47c downloaded from emule-project)but the problem is still here.
Btw I have seen 2 different dbghelp.dll,
the first one in windows dir is about 625k
the second in the emule dir is just 428k.
Is that normal? Any clues?

I've just tried eMule0.47c-Installer (downloaded from http://www.emule-project.net/) and installed it to a new folder. There's no dbghelp.dll in this folder nor in the subfolders.

infact i ve done a clean installation of the official emule in another folder and the file dbghelp.dll is not a problem anymore....
previously i ve put the official emule in a folder with a modded emule (with the dbghelp file)
now i m with the official version but after 2 days of working it closes with an error.....
i don t understand what can causes the error....
can it be an hardware problem?
i have....
intel conroe e6600
asus p5b
2x1gb 667 mhz
maxtor 320gb
antivirus: nod32
win xp home edition with the last update
router with the firewall on.
bye!

If all else fails, why not load the latest version and try that instead?
