NetF WARP 0.3a is out!

As my time modding has become less and less, I have decided to release what I got to the greater audience.

New release highlights:
Optimized for 100 Mbit connections
Optimized rounded Spread Bar Shaders (approx 50% cpu reduction while rendering)
Larger buffer for hashing (=> files are hashed faster)
And many bugfixes and optimizations

See the first post, for complete change log!

Note! If you use a 64 bit version of windows I highly recommend using the x64 version of NetF WARP as it tends to be faster (snappier).

Awesome, you're back! Great thing. This actually wants me to start coding again a lot.

No, there will not be a new version of my mods. No, I do not want your PM. No, I am certain, use the board and quit sending PMs. No, I am not kidding, there will not be a new version of my mods just because of YOU asking for it!

Yes, unfortunatly I haven't felt that I have much time for coding myself. And also the need for modding has become less as the network has become so much faster, than it used to be, there is little need for things like Sub Chunk Transfers and such.

Thanks @dylandog84 for the mirror!

A quick test with an immediate crash (Win7, x64 build). No crash dump? Well.

Wierd! Just tested myself on Win7 without problem...

Did you download the right version and not one of the old versions? I've seen some downloads of older version. Guess I need to make it clearer on the front page which is which...

Then you got the right one. I downloaded it myself and ran it so it is not, the zip file.

Here It works fine (64bit version on Windows 7, standard account), many thanks :+1:

One issue only (for now at least): in the search windows (with the mouse cursor positioned over one file/result of the list) the tootip (I have set up Its delay on 3 seconds in "Options" -> "Display") doesn't show up or shows up very partially.

Thanks again

Why do people mark crash reports as "-"?
Stupid kids.

Never realized there being any tool tips in search window. Well I can atleast confirm that they don't show for me either.

Good question! Maybe they just missed the reply button and hit the "-" instead.

Still crashing with a clean installation in a different folder. Still no crash dump. It just disappears.

I'm just trying it on Windows 8 64 bit (Intel Pentium G645), since about 50 minutes. :flowers:
Warp config is inside the program folder c:\program files (x86)\emule (store config and downloads in the program directory) and is started as administrator; temp and incoming folders are in d:
I've simply put it in place of emule.exe (official 0.50a).

Confirmed.
The tooltip should show itself only when the result is not expanded (scilicet double left click on the right side of the file name column), without consider the tooltip delay (id est it should show itself after about a second).
It should obviously show the entire file name.
Results shown in the following image/screen shot are fake results (I was trying the usual server list, with this new fake server: TV Underground No1 (82.192.71.34:4661))

Is it with a clean temp file folder also? Does the crash also happens in the 32bit version of WARP?

What edition of Windows do you run? (Home, Ultimate ...) And what CPU do you have?

I've tested with Windows 8 Professional on an AMD Phenom II X6 and with Windows 7 Ultimate on an Intel Core i5-480M. In both cases without problem.

Yes they should! Looks like the log printouts cause them to compress. Have to investigate this...

Yes, it crashes. No, 32-bit works even with my old temp folder.

Just crashed (probably when a file has been completed) :(
I used dumpchk file.dmp to show the following informations (let me know if you need the dump via e-mail):

dumpchk "C:\Program Files (x86)\eMule\Config\eMule_0-50a-4_20130616-091408.dmp" > %userprofile%\desktop\emuledump.txt

Spoiler

I used this command to show the stored exception (showed in bold in the previous spoiler):
cdb -z "C:\Program Files (x86)\eMule\Config\eMule_0-50a-4_20130616-091408.dmp" -logo %userprofile%\desktop\out.txt -lines -c "!analyze -v;.ecxr;!for_each_frame dv /t;q"
