When using a global search, I usually specify a minimum file size. However, often I get junk results that are below the minimum file size. How do I determine which server is giving me the crap results so I can remove it?
Also, is there a way to prevent a removed server from coming back through the automatic method of discovering new servers?

The only thing I've found on this issue that works in 10 minutes of searching is to only use peerrates.net servers, but that is WAY too restrictive. Is there a less restrictive alternate?

A less restrictive method: option - security - tick "filter servers too" (press apply) - press the "edit" button - it opens the ipfilter.dat - copy the strings at the 15th (fake server IPs), 16th (dead server IPs), 17th (strange behaviour server IPs), 18th (working server IPs) posts in this link (click) - save the file and close it - press the "reload" button (press apply/ok)

This ipfilter filters only servers (and a few of bad ips found on kad).
Normally, you should leave the filter level on 127.

filter level

on 151 and over: no servers
on 150-141: allows a few of (referenced) servers
on 140-131: allows a few of (referenced) servers plus the series of master server, sharing kingdom, storm share
on 130-127: allows max 20-50 working and not-spammer servers in your list
on 126-121: allows also some server that index only some type of file
on 120-101: allows also servers that don't index at all
on 100-31: allows also servers with a strange behaviour
on 30-11: allows also dead servers
on 10-1: allows also spam servers (and all the servers)
on 0: it is equal to no filters - allows also kad spammers (added only a few of ips at the moment)

HTH :D
